PFA rod is fabricated from high-purity PFA (Polyfluoroalkoxy) resin through advanced extrusion molding technology. It is highly machinable and can be processed into a wide range of sealing components, electrical parts, and other custom-made products, with a stable service temperature range of -200ºC to +260ºC.
Similar to PTFE, PFA boasts exceptional chemical stability, superior thermal performance, and excellent dielectric properties. It also features outstanding self-lubricating ability, flame retardancy, and anti-aging performance, along with remarkable folding resistance and stress crack resistance. Notably, its mechanical strength is 1.6 times higher than that of PTFE, making it more durable in practical applications.
With high wear resistance and excellent self-lubrication, PFA rod exhibits strong chemical resistance, a low friction coefficient, and reliable dielectric properties. Even in low-temperature environments, its insulation performance remains unchanged without any significant degradation, earning it the reputation of "the King of Plastics". Compared with PTFE, it has better creep resistance and flexibility, as well as excellent tensile strength, radiation resistance, and physiological inertness-being non-toxic and suitable for implantation in the human body.

Features of PFA Welding Rod
PFA welding rod is specifically designed for welding PTFE sheets and rods. Made from soluble polytetrafluoroethylene (PFA) resin via extrusion molding, it offers excellent high and low temperature resistance, high insulation, strong corrosion resistance, non-flammability, and non-stick properties. Additionally, it possesses hot-melt sealing and weldability, making it an ideal material for applications within the temperature range of -85ºC to +260ºC.
PFA retains four core advantages of fluoroplastics: excellent chemical stability, mechanical properties, electrical insulation, and self-lubrication. It also maintains non-stick, non-flammable, and anti-aging characteristics. Its most prominent feature is its lower melt viscosity compared to PTFE, allowing it to be processed using common thermoplastic molding methods. It has good high-temperature stability, and its mechanical strength is approximately twice that of PTFE. Moreover, PFA is softer than PTFE film, with excellent resistance performance and crack resistance.
